Drawing 1
3 cups drawing:
Reflection:
This drawing we drew 3 cups. I did alright on this I think I could have moved the items closer so it really looked like one was in front of the other. I wish I had enough time to put some shadows and make the bottle not look 2-dimensional. I think I did a really good job on the height of the bases.
Line quality drawing:
Reflection:
In this drawing I drew 2 bottles and a vase with flowers. My spacing and height of the bases I think I did pretty well you can see that the vase is closest and the far bottle on the left is farther behind. I did well on the line quality the lines are as thick thin, light and dark as they need to be. I could have done a better job shading you can still see the lines on the vase and I could have enlarged the flowers a little bit they are kind of hard to see because they are small.
Still-life drawing
Reflection:
This drawing we brought three items from home. I think I did really good on this drawing I had good composition and line quality. I had a slight tangent where the iPhone and the Starbucks card meet. I could improve on all the white space around the objects and I think to fix that I could have moved the items further apart so I could get the shadows and not have so much space. I did good on Da Vinci's 6 parts of light.
Reflection:
This drawing I chose a picture from Mexico because it was a good demonstration of one-point perspective. I think I did a really good job on the six parts of light especially on the things hanging on the walls. I think I had a good vanishing point and horizon line in my picture. It was a really hard picture to draw because of all the detail in it, but I tried my best and I think the outcome is really good.
One-point perspective drawing
Reflection:
We drew our faces in this drawing. I did a really good job on the eyes and eyebrows. I could improve on the mouth I don't think it looks right. I would also change my face shape and nose them a little smaller. I would also pull out more highlights and put in more shadows to make it really pop. Also make the face a little lighter.
Self- portrait drawing
Reflection:
I drew a picture from Chicago because I love the city so much. It was really fun to draw but also hard because there were so many tiny windows on the buildings. I think I did a good job on the six parts of light and using my vanishing points. I could have improved on the bottom of the building I was rushing and made it look really bad. I like the human element I tried to make it look like graffiti.
